Welcome to I’Lunies Dockside Sports Bar & Grill (pronounced eye-LOO-neez) — where sports, flavor, live music, and waterfront views come together.

Named in honor of Eileen, the owner’s mother, I’Lunies is rooted in a love for sports, laughter, and bringing people together. Eileen was a bartender herself and known for her fun, vibrant spirit—something that lives on in the energy and atmosphere you’ll find here every day.

Owner Melanie, alongside her husband Chris, both originally from Delaware County just outside of Philadelphia, bring a true taste of Philly to the Florida waterfront—featuring favorites like cheesesteaks, roast pork sandwiches with broccoli rabe, and hoagies served on authentic Liscio rolls, along with classic treats like water ice.

Alongside those hometown classics, we focus on fresh local seafood, quality ingredients, handcrafted cocktails and spirits, and a laid-back dockside vibe that makes every visit feel like a getaway.

Before opening I’Lunies, Melanie spent many years as a professional bartender, developing a deep appreciation for great service, crafted cocktails, and creating an environment where people feel at home. Chris previously owned a music store and recording studio and continues his passion locally as a musician and instructor—making live music a natural and meaningful part of the I’Lunies experience.

In 2016, they made the move to the Bradenton/Anna Maria area, where Melanie continued working in the service industry before stepping away to try something new. But the pull of the bar—the energy, the people, the atmosphere—never left. Combined with a love for the foods and flavors of home, and a shared passion for sports, music, and community, the vision for I’Lunies was born.

With live music, a welcoming crowd, and a fun, relaxed atmosphere, I’Lunies is the perfect place to kick back, catch the game, or simply meet up with friends and enjoy the moment—whether you’re a sports fan or just here for the vibe.
